How can I find out validity of a fare?

The validity of your long-term fare (coupons and discount applications) can be found in your user account, to which the given identifier is assigned. You can view the validity of the fare in the My Coupons section. The information on the validity of the fare is provided after submitting the identifier at the Lítačka Customer Centre in the Škoda Palace, at the express points of the Central Bohemian Region and at the DPP contact points of sale.

Can the fare be transferred to another identifier?

The transfer of the fare is possible between the personal identifiers of the same person. Moving the coupon takes effect within 60 minutes. To transfer a fare online via a user account, both identifiers between which the fare is to be transferred must be assigned to the same account. The fare can then be moved in the My Coupons section. You can perform the transfer in a similar way in the mobile application PID Lítačka. The fare can be further moved in the Lítačka Customer Center in the Škoda Palace. You will need an identity document and a personal identifier to which the fare is to be transferred. The fare for anonymous identifiers and for the Lítačka card without registration cannot be transferred.

How do I know the price of a coupon?

The fare price is based on the PID Tariff and is calculated at the time of purchase on the basis of the parameters of the selected fare, i.e. according to the selected tariff category, period and selected zones. You will find coupon price lists here (lhttps://zkus.pidlitacka.cz/cs/pricing).

Can I buy a coupon in advance?

Yes, you can choose an initial expiration date of up to 60 days from the date of purchase when purchasing a coupon.

Where do I buy long-term coupons?

Electronic long-term coupons can be purchased at the pidlitacka.cz e-shop, in the PID Lítačka mobile application, at the DPP e-shop or at DPP contact points of sale. The coupon can also be purchased for the card at the express points of the Central Bohemian Region.

Where can I buy short-term tickets?

Electronic short-term tickets can be purchased via the PID Lítačka mobile application. You can download it on Google Play or the App Store.

Where can I buy a discount application for free travel?

Discount application, i.e., Proof of entitlement to the special fare can only be purchased in person at the Lítačka Customer Centre in the Škoda Palace and at the DPP contact points of sale. The discount application for the card can also be purchased at the express points of the Central Bohemian Region. Unfortunately, this type of fare cannot be purchased online.

How do I buy a coupon online?

To purchase a coupon online, you need to be registered on pidlitacka.cz. The identifier to which you purchase the coupon must be assigned to your registered account or to one of the linked accounts. In the case of the purchase of a coupon in a preferential tariff category, the identifier must first prove the entitlement to the relevant discount.

Can I have a coupon on more than one identifier?

At the moment, the coupon or discount application is always assigned to a single identifier, which can be used to prove yourself at the time of the inspection. The reason is to prevent the possible risk of using one coupon by more than one person.

Can I have multiple coupons on one identifier?

Multiple coupons can be assigned to one identifier. When the identifier is read, all assigned currently valid coupons are displayed on the check-in device.

How do I buy a coupon for multiple zones?

The zones are selected during the coupon purchase, and these must follow one after another. If you wish to purchase non-contiguous zones, you need to add them to the cart separately, as separate items.

Why can't I select zone 0 at purchase?

Coupon for zone 0 cannot be purchased separately. You can buy this zone as part of a coupon for Prague (P + 0), or at least together with the zone 1.

Can I buy a student coupon online?

If you are a student and you have a valid Czech ISIC card, you can claim a discount online using this card. All you have to do is save the ISIC card number in your personal data, then you will be able to choose the student type of coupon when making a purchase. If you do not have an ISIC, you will need to visit the contact point and prove your entitlement to the discount here with a paper certificate of study. Alternatively, if you are studying at a foreign school, you must also provide proof of accreditation of the school issued by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic.

When can I buy an annual student coupon?

An annual student coupon can be purchased only for the Prague zones, this type of coupon is not offered for suburban zones. The annual student coupon is on sale with an optional start of validity only in the period from 15 August until the 1 November; in order to purchase it, you will also need a certificate of study for the entire school year.

Can I buy a coupon valid longer than the actual validity of the card?

A personal coupon can be purchased with a longer validity than the validity of the identifier itself. When the identifier expires, just move the coupon to another valid personal identifier. A coupon with a longer validity than the validity of the identifier cannot be purchased for an anonymous identifier and for the Lítačka card without registration of personal data.

Since when is my coupon valid?

In the case of online purchase, the coupon becomes valid to the selected extent immediately after the order has been processed, you are automatically informed about the order execution by e-mail. Please note that successful check in is guaranteed only past 60 minutes. In the case of a purchase at the contact point, the coupon is also valid immediately, but the passenger is obliged to submit a proof of purchase together with the identifier for the next 60 minutes.

Why do I need to keep my proof of purchase at the contact point?

The passenger has this obligation only 60 minutes after the purchase. The reason is the time and data requirements for sending information about the purchased coupon to the control device. This sending is not always possible in real time, as the control devices function also in places without any data coverage. In this case, the control device does not have information about the coupon and it is necessary to prove (together with the identifier) and proof of purchase.

How can I pay for an online order?

An order created via the pidlitacka.cz e-shop can be paid by card online or by bank transfer, you can choose the method of payment directly at the time of purchase. Payment for an order created in the PID Lítačka mobile application is always made using a payment card, but you can choose from several payment methods. You can use the card through the payment gateway with the possibility of remembering it, or you can also use the payment using the Apple Pay application and confirm payments, e.g. just a fingerprint.

Why can I set the coupon to expire in 5 working days at the earliest when paying by bank transfer?

Paying by bank means transferring money between different banks, which can take several days. In the case of payment by bank transfer, allow the order to be processed within 5 working days and take this into account when choosing the beginning of the validity of the purchased coupon.

What is the maturity of the coupon order when paying by transfer?

The due date is the next working day from the creation of the order.

What happens if I transfer money for a coupon incorrectly or late?

If you send the payment only after the set start of the coupon validity, or send it incorrectly (for example, you enter the wrong variable symbol or an inaccurate amount), we will automatically return it to you. In this case, the order cannot be processed and a new coupon purchase is required.

How do I know, which zones I need?

Information about the route and its zones can be obtained, for example, from the connection finder in the PID Lítačka mobile application, or directly in the timetable. An interactive map, a part of the purchase, will help you choose the correct zone, while making a purchase online.

Where can I find my invoice?

You can download the invoice for the completed coupon order in the My Orders section, or in the mobile application in the My Account section, Coupons tab. Please note that you will only find invoices for orders placed through the pidlitacka.cz e-shop or the PID Lítačka mobile application. If you purchase a coupon at a branch, you will receive the receipt directly at the time of purchase.

Can I change a coupon´s validity?

The scope of validity of the purchased coupon, i.e. its period of validity, zone, tariff category or coupon holder cannot be changed.

Can a coupon be suspended?

You cannot suspend the coupon.

Can a coupon be returned?

The return of the purchased coupon can be requested from Dopravní podnik hl. m. Prahy, a.s. Fare refunds are governed by the PID Tariff and are usually made at the DPP Central Dispatch, address: Na Bojišti 1452/5, Prague 2.

Can I exchange a paper coupon for an electronic one?

It is not possible to exchange a paper coupon for an electronic one, even the other way around, these coupons are inherently different.

Why can't I choose zones 10, 11 and 12 at purchase?

The coupon for zones 10, 11, 12 and 13 cannot be purchased separately. You can buy these zones together with at least the 9th zone, while it is necessary to maintain the continuity of the zones (eg. a combination of bands 9+10, 7+8+9+10+11, 9+10+11+12, etc.).
